Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant. As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the educational, social, and emotional well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Perform thorough psychological and educational evaluations to identify and address student needs.
  • Provide Counseling Services: Offer individual and group counseling to support students in overcoming social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Develop and Implement IEPs and 504 Plans: Work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to create and implement Individualized Education Programs and 504 plans.
  • Collaborate with School Staff: Collaborate with educators, parents, and community resources to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Develop School-Wide Programs: Develop and implement school-wide programs aimed at promoting mental health and academic success.
  • Crisis Intervention and Support: Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support as required.
  • Record Keeping and Confidentiality: Maintain detailed and confidential records of all services provided.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to the development of effective educational strategies and interventions.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree or Higher: A Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Ohio Department of Education Pupil Services License: A valid Ohio Department of Education Pupil Services License with a School Psychologist endorsement.
  • Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) Credential: A nationally certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential is preferred.
  • Strong Assessment and Intervention Skills: Strong skills in psychological assessment and intervention techniques.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, educators, and community organizations.
  • Continuous Professional Development: Commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed about best practices in school psychology.
Experience
  • Previous Experience as a School Psychologist: Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 setting is preferred.
  • Diverse Student Populations: Experience working with diverse student populations and a range of disabilities is advantageous.
