12-Hour Shifts (Rotating Not Required): 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Sign-On Bonuses:
$10,000 for Full-Time Positions
$5,000 for Part-Time Positions

Good Samaritan Society-Park River is a 60-bed facility offering both skilled and basic care. Our residents benefit from a dedicated team providing continuity of care. The local community features progressive medical facilities, including an eye clinic, dental clinic, and hospital/clinic. Nearby recreational opportunities include world-class fishing and cultural experiences.
Job Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for employing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to deliver personalized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and assess care. Demonstrates proficiency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to age and population-specific standards as defined in their clinical setting. Provides care across all phases of preventive health, maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Responsible for care coordination, resident assessments, education, and various nursing interventions.
May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel based on job descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and the competence level of the delegate. Ensures adequate support and guidance to delegates for safe and reliable resident care and resolution of service concerns. Functions within the standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure. The Professional Nursing Practice adheres to the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as published by the American Nurses Association.
Qualifications
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred.
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
