Job Overview
As a Senior Shipping and Receiving Supervisor at Esl Power System Inc, you will play a critical role in overseeing the company's shipping and receiving operations. Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Supervising shipping and receiving staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
  • Fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and continuous improvement
  • Developing and implementing shipping and receiving procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing of all orders and incoming deliveries
  • Enforcing safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety awareness, and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations
  • Continuously evaluating and improving logistics processes, identifying areas for optimization
  • Reviewing Sales Order (SO) Management board daily to coordinate and prioritize shipments and incoming deliveries
  • Managing import/export documentation for international orders, ensuring strict compliance with regulations
  • Maintaining adequate stock levels of shipping and receiving materials
  • Coordinating with drivers to schedule deliveries and pick-ups efficiently
  • Coordinating with carriers and freight forwarders to optimize shipping schedules and costs

Requirements
To perform this job successfully, you must have:
  • Strong leadership and staff motivation skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Must have strong experience in Import/Export guidelines, including knowledge of customs regulations and documentation requirements, proficiency in preparing and reviewing international shipping documentation, familiarity with international trade laws and Incoterms, and experience with customs clearance processes
  • Understanding of tariffs, duties, and international shipping restrictions
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Epicor
  • Computer literacy in Excel, Word, Outlook, UPS, and web-based shipping platforms
  • Extensive knowledge of Shipping and Receiving processes, warehouse management, and inventory control

Salary
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
