Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Merchandise Associate to join our HomeGoods team. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, engaging with all customers and embodying customer experience principles and philosophy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
  • Support and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
  • Initiate and participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Possesses excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
  • Possesses strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Capable of multi-tasking.
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Works effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Retail customer experience preferred.

This position has a starting pay range of $15.00 to $15.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
