This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of critical systems. As a Circuit Card Assembly Specialist, you'll be responsible for performing circuit card production assembly operations, including rework and modification, using a variety of shop tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform circuit card production assembly operations, including rework and modification, as an individual or as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Use and operate shop tools and equipment, including measuring instruments and equipment, to ensure high-quality results.
  • Operate various types of shop equipment, such as Surface Mount Technology (SMT), circuit board cleaning systems, and reflow ovens.
  • Provide maintenance on machines and tooling, and perform machine setup tasks to prepare equipment for production activity.
  • Document results in accordance with applicable procedures and collect data for statistical process control analysis.
  • Perform CCA work using detail work instructions and other released planning documentation, and a variety of other supporting technical documentation.
  • Perform assigned work using electrical and CCA-related electronic test instruments, test equipment, and measurement tools.
  • Document CCA non-conformances down to component level and perform approved CCA rework, modification, repairs, and incorporation of changes.
  • Assist in defining, implementing, completing, and monitoring the execution of the work scope.
  • Devises, develops, and assembles approved CCA shop aides and devices that may be required to adjust, test, or maintain circuit card assemblies.
  • Perform self-examination and inspection as certified and required.
  • Makes recommendations for refinement to CCA equipment and integration processes by conducting studies and evaluations that result in product and process improvements.
  • Analyzes CCA product, processes, test data, and rejection history to identify root cause for problems and assist with developing corrective action.
  • Perform chemical cleaning, surface finishing, conformal coating, and marking in accordance with specifications and procedures.
  • Perform critical handling tasks and operate special electrical, electronic, mechanical, and support equipment.
  • Set up and maintain CCA charts, logs, records, and reports.
  • Duties may include the handling of hazardous waste (if qualified).
  • Maintain licenses, permits, and certifications required to perform CCA work.
  • Works under general supervision.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite, and the selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. The candidate must be willing to work any shift.

This is a union-represented position (IAMAW 2766). The position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or assembly environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with circuit card and/or electronics manufacturing.
  • Experience performing soldering and electronics repair to the component level.

Typical Education/Experience:

High School graduate and Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 5% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $20.00/Hr. - $26.00/Hr.
