Head Lifeguard

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aquatic Safety and Operations Manager to join our team at the Jewish Community Center of Denver. As a key member of our aquatics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our members and guests while also overseeing the daily operations of our swim center.

• Ensure the safety of all swimmers by implementing preventative measures and responding to emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
• Oversee the daily operations of the swim center, including pool maintenance, chemical management, and equipment maintenance.
• Supervise and train lifeguards and other aquatics staff to ensure they are equipped to handle emergency situations and provide excellent customer service.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with the Aquatics Director and other department heads to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.

• Minimum of one year of experience as a lifeguard or in a related aquatic safety role.
• Current and valid CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid Lifeguard certification from the American Red Cross.
• Effective leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
