Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our Assisted Living team in a part-time evening shift position. As a vital member of our care team, you will provide top-notch nursing care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and happiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide essential nursing care and support to residents
  • Greet residents with a warm smile and ensure their comfort and happiness
  • Use the wristband or photo card file to identify residents before administering treatments or serving meals
  • Keep an eye out for any changes in residents' conditions and report them to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse as needed
  • Record all entries in an informative and descriptive manner, contributing to exceptional resident care
  • Respect and protect residents' privacy, ensuring confidentiality is always upheld
  • Perform nursing care procedures you've been trained in, and be ready to lend a helping hand
  • Prepare residents' rooms to welcome them warmly-bed made and name tags displayed
  • Introduce residents to their new home, helping them settle in and feel at ease
  • Assist residents with their personal belongings, ensuring everything is neatly stored
  • Transport residents to new rooms or receiving areas, making the process smooth and enjoyable
  • Collaborate with your nursing team to create a dynamic and supportive work environment
  • Participate in nursing reports and share ideas to enhance resident care
  • Assist residents with daily activities, ensuring their needs are met with kindness and care
  • Engage with residents during meals, encouraging healthy eating and social interaction
  • Keep residents' water pitchers filled-hydration is key
  • Participate in after-meal care with compassion, ensuring residents feel clean and comfortable
  • Report any issues or concerns to help us continuously improve
  • Provide personal care and support, making every interaction count
  • Monitor residents' health and report any concerns to the appropriate team members
  • Communicate promptly with the facility regarding lateness or absences, fostering a culture of teamwork
  • Embrace a fun, friendly environment, celebrating moments that bring joy to our residents
Requirements
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
  • Must be able to move throughout the workday, lift up to 25 pounds, and assist in evacuating residents during emergencies
