Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Driver to join our team in a Local Yard Position. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods within our yard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload freight as required, using appropriate equipment and techniques to prevent damage or injury.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of your activities, including hours worked, miles driven, and any incidents or issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may impact productivity or safety.
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with relevant endorsements and qualifications.
  • Minimum 21 years of age and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and a Ryder background check.
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle, or 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years' experience within the last 10 years.
