Job Summary

This position is located in Shreveport, Louisiana, and is responsible for leading the parts distribution, planning, and management procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily activities, analyzing data, formulating reports, and managing parts ordering and distribution to various departments within the Vehicle Processing Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for parts distribution and inventory management.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Provide regular reports on department performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate counts.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to arrange deliveries and prevent parts shortages.
  • Oversee the end-of-month physical counting of inventory and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Maintain open communication with other departments to improve performance and productivity.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5-8 years of direct transportation, logistics, or supply chain experience required; 8-12 years preferred.
  • 2-5 years of supervisory experience required.
  • Forklift and pallet jack training required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit at a desk and/or in front of a computer for long periods of time.
  • Repetitive use of hands/grasping, writing, and typing.
  • Stand/walk.
  • Lift up to 15lbs.
  • Carry up to 15lbs.
  • Bend/ stoop, push/pull frequently.
