Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide one-on-one support and mentorship to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, enabling them to thrive in their home environments and participate fully in community life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide transportation and support for individuals to participate in community activities, outings, and field trips
  • Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care
  • Offer guidance and support to individuals in achieving developmental goals, such as community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities
  • Support individuals in maintaining personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting skills
  • Assist individuals in redirecting agitated or aggressive behaviors
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
  • Six months of experience in human services preferred
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Successful clearance of background checks
  • A reliable, responsible attitude
