Mammography Technologist Outpatient Imaging Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our Outpatient Imaging team at AdventHealth DeLand. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing mammographic imaging procedures, assisting radiologists in the performance of biopsies and other procedures, and positioning, moving, and assisting patients.
Responsibilities:
- Examine requisitions, patient reports, and previous films to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging.
- Perform X-Ray and DEXA imaging procedures as needed, using accepted ACR/MQSA and departmental standards of positioning and image quality.
- Document all procedures and patient clinical history accurately and thoroughly.
- Practice aseptic techniques and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (R) (M) (Registered Mammographer) certifications.
- State of Florida license in Radiography.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
