About the Role

The Cafeteria Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cafeteria, providing exceptional service to our patients, families, and staff. As a key member of our Nutrition Services team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve food, including placing items on the service line, serving food, and replenishing supplies.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning cafeteria equipment, tables, and floors, and adhering to sanitation standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and achieve our goals.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact with the public.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift, stand, and walk for up to eight hours per day.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of sanitation standards and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
