Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic team at Dignity Health – Northridge Hospital Medical Center.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients
  • Operating and maintaining nuclear medicine imaging equipment
  • Acquiring and processing high-quality images
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Maintaining accurate and complete patient records
  • Adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a hospital and radiology department as a nuclear medicine tech
  • Satisfactory completion of formal nuclear medicine technology training in an AMA-approved school
  • AA or BS degree in Nuclear Medicine
  • ARRT (national) or CNMT Required
  • CRT (state) required
  • AHA BLS certification required
  • LA City Fire Safety Card required within 90 days of hire
