Merchandising Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team at Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast. As a Merchandiser, you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, visibility, and promotion of our beverages in retail stores across our territory.

• Execute merchandising plans to optimize product placement, display, and availability in retail stores.
• Maintain product levels on store racks, shelves, displays, and in coolers by identifying replenishment needs.
• Transport product between backroom and display floor using manual equipment.
• Implement promotional activities and marketing campaigns in accordance with company guidelines.
• Secure damaged or defective product while maintaining a clean product space.
• Ensure accurate product counts by properly managing backrooms and organizing backstock.
• Operate manual and powered handling equipment.
• Maintain areas of responsibility in designated accounts by communicating status and concerns to store and company personnel.
• Follow company and store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff to drive collaboration and maximize merchandising opportunities.

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience working in grocery, retail, consumer goods, warehousing or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred.
• Ability to repetitively lift, push and pull up to 40-55 pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.
• Valid driver's license, driving record within policy guidelines, and insurance that meets or exceeds company requirements.
