**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter to join our team in Catoosa, Oklahoma. As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including setting up and operating advanced welding equipment, conducting weld tests, and ensuring all work meets required specifications. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, with the potential for long-term placement.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Set up and operate advanced welding equipment for various tasks.
  • Conduct weld tests, including Open Root 3G MIG/Flux Core and 6G TIG Root/Flux Fill on 2inch Schedule 160 pipe.
  • Identify and repair defective products efficiently, maintaining acceptable repair appearance.
  • Troubleshoot welding issues to reduce rework and equipment downtime.
  • Ensure all welding work meets required specifications and high-quality standards.
  • Follow safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized work environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • At least 2 years of pipe welding experience.
  • Proficiency in MIG Flux Core and TIG welding techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and blueprints.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve welding defects.
  • Ability to perform weld tests (3G and 6G) to required standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

**Estimated Salary:** The estimated hourly salary for this position is $25.28, based on experience and location. This rate may vary depending on the specific requirements of the job and the candidate's qualifications.

**Benefits:** Stand-By Personnel offers competitive referral bonuses, including $125 for a skilled worker and $200 for a welder. We also provide a $50 advance after the first day of work.
