Mixologist

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Waynesville Inn & Golf, Tapestry by Hilton. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable experience for all who visit our establishment.

• Prepare and serve drinks, food, and other beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu, including drinks, food, and specials.
• Operate the hotel computer system, Micros, to manage orders, inventory, and customer transactions.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including side work and restocking/replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
• Follow proper cash handling procedures, including cash bank reconciliation and end-of-shift drop.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to hotel grooming standards.
• Engage with guests in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner, resolving any complaints or issues that may arise.
• Assist the food and beverage team as needed, providing support during peak periods.

• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a bartender, with on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to pass TIPS certification/alcohol awareness training and food handler training.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate a computer.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
