Anesthesiology Specialist

To provide exceptional care to America's Veterans, we are seeking a skilled Certified Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration.

As a Certified Nurse Anesthetist, you will be responsible for providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical, obstetrical, and medical procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing anesthesia care for patients, including pain management and cardiac and respiratory resuscitation
• Applying specific methods of inhalation therapy and clinical management of fluid, electrolyte, and metabolic disturbances
• Participating in an even distribution of call as determined by the Chief of Anesthesiology

Requirements include:

• Advanced Practice Nurse (Certified Nurse Anesthetist) degree from a school of professional nursing anesthesia accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs (COA)
• English language proficiency
• Full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
