Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive library atmosphere that reflects the diverse interests of all students
  • Develop a library schedule that encompasses orientation, read-aloud sessions, digital citizenship, and information literacy instruction
  • Curate and maintain a diverse collection of print and digital resources tailored to the learning needs of all students
  • Oversee library circulation and manage cataloging and processing of new materials using the Opals Media Flex Library Management System
  • Conduct elective classes for middle school students
  • Collaborate with educators to support research project development and implementation
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in educational technology and integrate them into the curriculum
  • Provide training and support to faculty on software and technology for teaching
  • Design and lead workshops on instructional technology applications
  • Create and maintain reading lists and resource guides
  • Organize annual book fairs and author visits
  • Manage the library budget, including anticipated purchases and ongoing maintenance
Compensation

$75,000 - $115,000
