Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at American Battery Solutions. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in executing financial activities and providing support to the Controller and VP of Finance.

The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine, record, and summarize costs, including products and services, to assist in financial decision-making.
• Track and manage costs of goods manufactured, inventory, and fixed assets to improve business decisions and financial plans.
• Maintain accurate financial records in conformance with IRS rules and GAAP accounting.
• Analyze and report on capital expenditures and supporting annual financial audits.
• Reconcile fixed asset accounting systems to general ledgers and reconcile year-end inventories.
• Perform account analysis and reconciliation on various accounts, such as Inventory, Tangible Fixed Assets, Purchase Price Variance (PPV), freight, and depreciation.
• Assist with budget preparation and analysis.
• Support external audit and due diligence responsibilities, including pulling support and interfacing with third-party auditors and/or regulators.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Accounting or Finance related experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience performing job costing (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of experience performing fixed asset management (preferred).
• CPA or CMA license (preferred).
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
