Lead Bartender

At Terrace Hotel Lakeland, we're seeking a skilled and charismatic Lead Bartender to join our team. As a key member of our bar operations, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and mentoring our bartending staff.

• Customer Service: Lead the bar team in providing outstanding service, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
• Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, according to established recipes and standards.
• Inventory Management: Manage bar inventory, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining accurate records of alcohol and supplies.
• Team Development: Train, mentor, and support bartenders and barbacks to ensure consistency and quality.
• Bar Maintenance: Monitor bar cleanliness and organization, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Cash Handling: Handle cash, credit card transactions, and reconcile daily sales.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with management on bar promotions, special events, and menu updates.
• Responsible Service: Ensure responsible alcohol service by following all applicable laws and company policies.
• Guest Relations: Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume environment.
• Leadership: Proven leadership experience, preferably in a supervisory or lead bartender role.
• Mixology: Extensive knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail preparation, and mixology.
• Customer Service: Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Team Management: Ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Advanced Mixology: Advanced mixology skills, including knowledge of craft cocktails and emerging beverage trends.
• Certifications: TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred.
• Inventory Management: Experience in bar menu development and cost control strategies.
• Event Planning: Event planning or coordination experience, especially in a bar or hospitality setting.
