Job Title: Trailer Mechanic

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on our fleet of trailers and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular inspections on trailers and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on trailers and other equipment as needed
  • Utilize company software to create and complete work orders
  • Lead and assist with physical parts purchasing, inventory, receiving, and proper charge out of parts to work orders
  • Perform general cleaning and repair duties
  • Oversee other shop personnel
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2 years of school and 2 years of experience or 4 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair
  • Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training
  • ASE certification required
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Ability to work in inclement weather conditions outside
  • CDL Class A preferred
  • 609 HVAC Certification
  • Brake Inspector Certification, knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Working knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software for OEMs and component manufacturers
  • Technician must own and provide all tools necessary to perform maintenance
  • Current valid driver's license and reliable transportation
