Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hospital Medicine team at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members. With a strong background in advanced practice nursing and hospital medicine experience, you will be able to drive quality improvement and provide exceptional patient care.
The estimated salary for this role is $100,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Practice Expert: Provide advanced-level direct and indirect care to individual patients/families and/or groups of patients/families in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
- Education/Clinical Staff Development: Provide leadership and collaborate with other health professionals and educational resources to establish staff education programs to address the specific needs of populations of patients.
- Demonstrates collaborative leadership with Clinical Leadership: Provides leadership in meeting system, organizational, division, and departmental goals.
- Demonstrates accountability for professional responsibilities and self-development.
Requirements:
- Completion of a master's degree or higher in a nursing specialty is demonstrated through national specialty certification as a nurse practitioner.
- At least three years of general nursing experience of clinical practice at the RN level or higher.
- Advanced practice licensure/certification as required by the State of employment.
- Nurse Practitioner needs to have acute/hospital care experience.
- Shift 7 pm- 7 am (rotating)
