We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Wyoming Life Resource Center (WLRC) in Lander, Wyoming. As a LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents of the WLRC, including duties in our medical clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or healthcare provider and according to the plan of care derived from the healthcare provider's orders and RN assessment.
- Oversee Central Supply, employee health files, and provide backup for our medical clinic.
- Provide daily nursing care to chronic and acute patients, following provider orders and plans of care.
- Serve as a liaison between residential staff, clinic, and healthcare providers, monitoring the health status of clients and providing information to providers and other nursing staff.
- Confer with RNs and providers to discuss, plan, and implement a course of action in resident care.
- Administer medications and provide routine treatments to residents, such as respiratory therapy, insulin therapy, dressing changes, etc.
- Provide input as to nursing and medication needs.
- Keep abreast of standard nursing practices, ICF and SNF standards, and WLRC policies and procedures.
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Wyoming.
- 0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in nursing).
