Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics/Electrical Technician to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform technical skills in avionics and aircraft systems operational testing and troubleshooting.
  2. Install and functional test electrical/avionics components and systems per Engineering specifications, drawings and maintenance manuals.
  3. Assist in ensuring quality and efficiency of all installations, troubleshoot processes/concepts to provide timely, quality repairs of malfunctioning systems.
  4. Acquire and demonstrate skills and knowledge required to effectively and efficiently repair or replace defective components and wiring.
  5. Perform and comply with engineering changes and modifications as required.
  6. Assist in set up and operation of necessary test equipment, conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
  7. Ensure all work performed on the aircraft is properly and completely documented and ready for inspection.
  8. Test and maintain test equipment, electronic systems, and components.
  9. Comply with the company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program and all safety regulations.
Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required. 2 years related work experience; or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
