Aya Healthcare is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Mission Viejo, CA.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art imaging department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine procedures, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including PET scans, SPECT scans, and other imaging modalities
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring accurate dosing and patient safety
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and departmental standards
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in nuclear medicine, preferably in a hospital or imaging center setting
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, including PET and SPECT scans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
