About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse on our Hall 1 team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. Our long-term care unit is a 40-45 bed facility that offers a wide range of services and support. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated nurse to join our team and help us deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans to meet the needs of our residents. You will also attend to the daily operations of the unit and assume leadership responsibilities as needed. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of nursing principles and basic physical assessment skills.
Requirements
We are looking for a nurse with a formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree and less than one year of experience. You will need to be licensed as a Practical Nurse and have AHA CPR Certification. Basic computer skills and knowledge of specialized equipment such as Synquest, IV Pump, and Phillips Monitoring System are also required.
