Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation of both internal and external financial reports, including regulatory filings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in all facets of quarterly and annual regulatory filings, including 10-Q, 10-K, and other necessary submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory reporting schedules and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Support the earnings release process by preparing necessary tables and documentation.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather and review data for internal and external reporting.
  • Conduct accounting research and integrate new reporting requirements into documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with auditors regarding financial reporting issues.
  • Analyze the bank's consolidated financial statements.
  • Prepare schedules for internal reporting, including monthly board packages.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred qualifications include a CPA license or MBA.
  • 2-3 years of experience in public accounting or financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the banking or financial services sector is highly desirable.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is crucial.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft GL and Workiva software is a plus.

Education and Experience:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, along with 2-3 years of experience in public accounting or financial reporting.

Language Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Ability to analyze and interpret business documents and regulations is necessary.

Physical Demands:
This role requires the ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.

Compensation:
The base pay range for this position is USD $67,000.00/Yr. - USD $90,000.00/Yr., with offers determined based on experience and qualifications.
