Responsibilities- Conduct individual and group therapeutic interventions to support patients' mental health and well-being.
- Perform psychosocial assessments and mental health intake evaluations to identify patients' needs and develop treatment plans.
- Provide behavioral health consultation to correctional personnel and other team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Respond to crisis situations and provide de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support patients' transition to community-based services.
- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or a related field.
- Unrestricted, current licensure in the state of practice (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or Psychologist).
- Experience in counseling or a related field, preferably in a correctional setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
