Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and articulate Home Inspector to join our team of professional property evaluators. As a Home Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting thorough and accurate inspections of residential properties, identifying potential issues, and providing detailed reports to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site inspections of residential properties to identify potential issues and defects
  • Prepare detailed reports of findings, including photographs and recommendations for repairs or maintenance
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and concise explanations of inspection results
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in home inspection and property evaluation
  • Work independently, with minimal supervision, to complete inspections and reports in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in home inspection or a related field
  • Home Inspector certification, such as InterNachi or ASHI, required
  • Strong understanding of building codes, laws, and government regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
