Location: Remote/Hybrid

Mindlance is seeking motivated entry-level professionals to join our fraud investigation team. The selected candidates will play a crucial role in examining fraudulent activities and supporting various projects related to cash management in collaboration with the Transaction Services department. The primary goal is to manage a variety of complex transaction types from initiation to resolution, including necessary escalations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with different business units to effectively identify fraudulent activities.
  • Monitor cases of existing accounts with suspicious wire transactions.
  • Report questionable cases to the investigation team, supplying all pertinent information to mitigate client losses.
  • Ensure comprehensive case details are documented for precise reporting.
  • Analyze detailed fraud detection data from multiple sources that indicate unusual or suspect activities requiring further investigation.
  • Take timely and appropriate actions regarding identified suspicious customers and accounts.
  • Prepare narratives and submit Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in compliance with FinCEN regulations.
  • Manage cases by providing detailed evidence and all necessary documentation.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in analyzing customer transactions and identifying potentially suspicious activities.
  • Familiarity with writing and preparing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in line with regulatory standards is preferred.
  • Experience in a financial institution with a focus on Fraud Monitoring is advantageous.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent time management and organizational capabilities.
  • Proficient research skills, including experience with online search tools such as KYC and Cognos.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to comprehend and draw conclusions from conducted research.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the capacity to work independently without supervision.
