We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Elsdon Group, a leading general contractor based in Aventura, Florida. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing detailed cost estimates, bids, and proposals for luxury hotel projects, high-end condominiums, and intricate interior renovations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain accurate and competitive pricing for projects, analyzing plans, specifications, and documents to identify project scope and potential cost impacts.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Review and assess subcontractor bids and quotes, providing recommendations for cost-saving alternatives.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings, project hand-offs, and client presentations as needed.
- Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on hotel projects, condominiums, or high-end interiors.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools such as Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Competitive salary range of $110,000 - $130,000, based on experience.
