Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the Mount Sinai Health System. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiologic and fluoroscopic examinations in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients and examination areas for administration of radiological and fluoroscopic diagnostic examinations.
  • Operate and adjust equipment, determining current settings and monitoring patient and employee radiation exposure.
  • Position patients in accordance with established procedures and record and code all applicable examination results.
  • Provide patient orientation prior to examination sessions and respond to patients' needs during testing.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in radiological technology.
  • Two to three years of progressively more responsible experience as a radiology lead technologist or junior supervisor.
  • Knowledge of major models of radiological diagnostic equipment and ability to troubleshoot routine equipment problems.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Word.
