Urology Physician Assistant Opportunity

First Physicians Group of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our FPG Urology practice in Venice, Florida. Our state-of-the-art hospital, SMH-Venice, offers a unique opportunity for a Physician Assistant to work alongside a team of experienced Urologists and support staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Full-time Physician Assistant position on staff at SMH-Venice Hospital
  • Busy practice with four Urologists and two Physician Assistants, offering a collaborative and supportive work environment
  • Primarily clinic-based with consult service, with optional First Assist responsibilities
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with ER Call responsibilities including 52 weekdays per year and one weekend a month
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited master's degree program
  • Current board certification
  • Active or eligibility for licensure by the State of Florida
  • BLS and DEA Certificate
  • New or experienced PA-C with Urology interest encouraged to apply
