Primary Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Primary Therapist to join our multidisciplinary treatment team at Monte Nido Eating Disorder Center of Westchester. Our center provides a unique and supportive environment for individuals struggling with eating disorders, and we are committed to delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients
  • Serve as a liaison with families and outpatient providers to ensure seamless care
  • Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
  • Participate in discharge and aftercare planning to ensure a smooth transition for clients
  • Provide therapeutic meal support and model a healthy relationship with food
  • Deliver safe, empathetic, and affirming care to each client, taking into account their unique circumstances and intersecting identities

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in clinical counseling or a related field
  • State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
  • Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is preferred
  • Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices
