Job Title: Warehouse Generalist

The Warehouse Generalist is a key member of our team at Florist Distributing Inc. This role involves assisting in various departments as needed, with job responsibilities varying from day to day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Package fresh flowers and durable goods for shipment
  • Assist in loading and unloading company delivery vehicles
  • Prepare route shipments and drive when necessary

Working Conditions:

  • Constant exposure to refrigerated environment
  • Noise and temperature changes

Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent experience
  • 6 months or less of similar or related work experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Light to moderate work: exerting/lifting 10-40 lbs of force occasionally
  • Visual abilities required include clarity at all distances, color and peripheral vision, and depth perception

  • Warehouse and shipping systems
