Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Monitor to join our team at one of our rehabilitation facilities. As a Security Monitor, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise Resident Movement: Ensure the safe and orderly movement of residents within the assigned unit or area of the facility.
- Report Incidents: Promptly report any resident accidents or injuries to your supervisor.
- Provide Orientation: Provide new residents with a comprehensive orientation to the facility's rules and regulations.
- Conduct Inspections: Conduct daily inspections of resident sleeping quarters and body searches as necessary.
- Monitor Security Cameras: Remain at assigned security checkpoints and monitor security cameras to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Enforce Facility Rules: Ensure that residents adhere to the facility's rules of conduct.
- Supervise Visitation: Supervise resident visitation and ensure that it is conducted in a safe and orderly manner.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as well as one year of general work experience.
- Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with residents, staff, and visitors on a regular basis.
- Time Management: The ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks is critical in this role.
- Communication Skills: Good written and oral communication skills are required for this role, as you will be communicating with residents, staff, and visitors on a regular basis.
The GEO Group, Inc. offers a competitive benefits package, including:
- Competitive Pay: $18.00 per hour
