Job Title: Registered Nurse - Observation Unit - Full Time Nights

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Observation Unit team at TriHealth. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse - Observation Unit - Full Time Nights will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and promoting a safe and therapeutic environment. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and a passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients and families, documenting findings and communicating with the healthcare team as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing patient needs and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health and wellness and empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care, promoting a culture of safety and respect.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices and policies.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Preferred: BSN, certification in a specialty area, and experience in a similar role
