MRI Technologist, 24 hours

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital(WDH). As a key member of our Imaging Services department, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining high-quality images.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine MRI procedures, including contrast administration with power injector
- Assess patient comfort and anxiety levels, providing reassurance and emotional support as needed
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation of patient information, including medical history and test results
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of imaging quality
- Graduate from an approved Radiology training program
- 1+ years of experience in Radiology MRI capacity
- Computer manipulation, verbal and written communication skills, mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative manner
- Ability to make effective professional judgments and decisions based on objective criteria
- MRI Certified
- ARRT-MR certification within one year of hire
