Banner Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Sun City West, Arizona. As a Registered Nurse in our Neuro PCU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary

This is a full-time night shift position working three 12-hour shifts per week. Enjoy an 18% night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential when applicable. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neurology and experience working in a progressive care unit.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and assessment data.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve patient-centered care and improve patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current, valid RN license in the state of practice.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.
  • Experience in neurology and progressive care unit settings preferred.
