Role Overview

As a Senior Store Sales Specialist at REI, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, providing exceptional customer service, and developing a deep understanding of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Performance: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets by delivering exceptional customer service, staying up-to-date on products and services, and collaborating with department managers to achieve sales goals.
  2. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of REI's products and services, including gear, clothing, and accessories.
  3. Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  4. Team Leadership: Train and mentor new staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
  5. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, pricing accuracy, and product stock levels to ensure optimal store operations.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of retail sales experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Familiarity with REI's products and services.
