Responsibilities of the RBT Role

As an RBT at Discovery ABA, your responsibilities will include:
* Implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs designed by a BCBA
* Providing direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction
* Collecting data on client progress and behavior using defined methods
* Assisting in the development of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA
* Collaborating with caregivers and other team members to support consistent implementation of treatment plans
* Following ethical guidelines and maintaining confidentiality in all interactions
* Participating in ongoing training and supervision sessions provided by BCBAs
* Ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions
* Documenting and reporting client responses and progress to the supervising BCBA

Settings and Compensation

Therapy is provided in home and community settings. Choose the setting that suits you best. Our competitive hourly rate is $19-$27, depending on experience.

Qualifications

We're looking for individuals who possess:
* A high school diploma
* Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities
* The RBT 40-hour course certification is preferred
* Registered Behavior Technician certification is a plus
