Freight Car Inspector and Repairer

Key responsibilities include:
- Inspecting rail cars for damage or defects
- Performing welding, painting, and general construction tasks on cars and locomotives
- Identifying and analyzing defective components, indicating necessary corrective actions
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of mechanical work experience or training, with a preference for welding and fabrication experience. Physical requirements include lifting up to 70 lbs, standing, walking, and balancing for long periods, as well as effective use of hands and arms.
