We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Engineer to join our team at HNTB Corporation. As a key member of our Electrical Section in Kansas City, you will have the opportunity to design electrical systems for a variety of clients on highway, municipal, bridge, transit, and airport projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design electrical systems for transportation infrastructure projects, including power distribution and control systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers to perform research, development, calculations, design, and delivery of electrical engineering projects.
  • Apply engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
  • Mentor and train junior engineer staff, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Contribute to the successful project delivery for a diverse range of projects for HNTB's clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience, or PhD in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
  • Experience with Roadway and Highway Lighting, AGI32 Lighting Software, and completing Plans, Specifications, and Estimate construction packages for Municipal and DOT clients.
