The Opportunity

Our Help Desk/Site Support vertical is a crucial part of this mix, enabling all our internal teams worldwide to grow beyond their limits.

Under moderate supervision, you will field incoming help requests by providing first-level IT support and either resolve or escalate incidents in a timely manner. You will provide updates within stipulated periods and track open incidents until closure. You will also provide technical support by performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and taking necessary steps to provide resolution, providing clear communication and customer support.

You will correctly log incidents, categorize, and prioritize them in line with process and follow-up until closure. You will identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures. This position reports to the Lead Administrator and will be onsite at our Carpinteria, CA Nusil location.

What We're Looking ForEducation

High school diploma required; Associates or Technical school degree preferred

1-2 years' experience providing IT Support

Working knowledge of Lotus Notes and LanDesk technologies

Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or carrying objects that frequently weigh up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 60 lbs.

How You Will Create an Impact

You will provide support for all PC, network, and Server hardware and software applications, including but not limited to: Lotus Notes, MS Outlook, MS Office, Virtual Desktop, Junos Pulse, Active Directory, Landesk Application Deployment, MDT Imaging for PCs, Cisco Network Hardware, Facility Cabling, RF Equipment, and various end-user applications and computing devices.

You will receive direction for more complex issues from Lead Administrators or management. You will provide troubleshooting, assist with product evaluation, selection, deployment, and use. You may participate in the testing and evaluation of new desktop packages and implement prototypes. You will provide setup, deployment, and support of mobile devices.

You will monitor on-site IS Systems, including backups, UPS, and server/network equipment. You will provide remote support for facilities and associates. You will maintain, support, and configure warehouse devices (Printers, RF Units, Terminals, etc.). You will engage with external vendors for support and services.

You will conduct end-user training and learning sessions with associates. You will assist in technology planning and budgeting, maintenance of technical documentation, and identification of process improvement opportunities. You will maintain a listing of spare inventory and electronic waste.

You will perform other duties as assigned.
