Job Description

Hearing Assessment Audiologist Role

We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team as a Hearing Assessment Audiologist. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

The Veteran files their claim before meeting with you, and all relevant medical records are uploaded into a computer portal for review during the appointment. You will conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal.

This position does not involve prescribing medical treatments or devices.

Schedule and Work Environment

This is an in-person position with a standard schedule, offering 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes per patient without evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts. We also do not engage in hearing aid sales.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Au.D degree from an ASHA-accredited school
  • Current license as an Audiologist
