We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital, part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.

About the Role:

">
  • Demonstrate expertise in obtaining high-quality CT images and adhere to established scanning protocols.
  • Ensure radiation safety guidelines are followed for both patients and self, utilizing Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
  • Operate the CT scanner safely and competently, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Perform computer operations efficiently, including Meditech tasks, to ensure proper charges and verified physician orders.
  • Rendertop-notch patient care in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare examination rooms for CT scans and/or invasive procedures, maintaining inventory and cleanliness standards.
  • Assist radiologists with medication administration, contrast agents, biopsies, and other patient care duties.
  • Verify exam accuracy and complete verification processes in PACS.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding employees and patients according to HIPAA policies.
  • Pursue continuing education requirements for ARRT licensure and certification.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Current ARRT licensure and certification in CT technology within 6 months of hire.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
  • One year of experience as a CT technologist preferred.
