Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at MedCenter Urgent Care.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient care and ensuring high-quality imaging services.

Responsibilities
  • Assist radiologists with various medical imaging procedures, including X-ray and computed tomography (CT) scans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality and security.
  • Clean and prepare equipment for use, following strict safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Stay current with industry developments and advancements in imaging technology, participating in ongoing training and education.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 0-2 years of experience operating digital radiographic equipment.
  • Possession of a valid certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Registration in Radiologic Sciences is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds of x-ray equipment, with occasional physical demands due to prolonged standing and sitting.

As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
