Job Title: Patient Care Tech

At Premier Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Tech to join our team. As a Patient Care Tech, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

About the Role:

The Patient Care Tech will work under the supervision of a nurse to provide direct patient care, including:

  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes to the nurse
  • Assisting patients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
  • Collecting samples, such as blood or urine, for laboratory testing
  • Cleaning and changing bandages
  • Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and families
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A BLS CPR certificate
  • No previous job experience is required, but you should have one of the following:
    • Completed STNA, CNA, or Patient Care Technician/Assistant training
    • Helped care for patients in the past 5 years
    • Currently in nursing school and completed one clinical rotation
Preferred Qualifications:
