Job Title: Registered Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Valdosta Orthopedic Associates.

Job Summary:

The Registered Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing radiological duties in compliance with x-ray department and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and excellent communication skills to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiological duties in compliance with x-ray department and legal requirements
  • Help patients feel comfortable during the entire process
  • Perform selected nursing, lab, administrative, and clerical duties that assist in the delivery of orthopedic health care and patient care management under the direction of a Physician, PA, or NP
  • Delegated duties will be in relation to the individual's degree of training, in accordance with the objectives and policies of the organization and respective state laws governing such action and activities
  • Selected candidate will serve as a medical assistant from time to time as necessary, including bringing patients to rooms, beginning basic assessments, and updating electronic health records
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Radiologic Technology Degree
  • Current and Active ARRT
  • Requires knowledge of human anatomy
  • X-Ray Experience in Operating Room
  • Minimum 1 year experience in medical field
  • EHR Knowledge
Preferred Skills:
  • Basic computer skills necessary: Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Experience with insurance a plus, but not necessary
