We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc. as a Class A CDL Driver. As a vital member of our logistics team, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely delivery of essential food products to our customers.
Competitive Compensation
The estimated annual salary for this position is $69,318 based on a 40-hour workweek and an hourly wage of $33.34. This figure may vary depending on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to your base pay, you may also be eligible for overtime compensation.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work with a leading food distributor, delivering a wide range of products, including meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to various customer drop-off sites.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, meeting scheduled delivery times and maintaining high productivity levels.
- Unload products using a hand truck and place items in customer storage areas.
- Perform repeated manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and verify product receipt with customers.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Hold a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
- Have a minimum of six months of commercial driving experience or three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry.
- Pass a DOT physical examination.
